This is the beginning you've been waiting for

My thoughts, my ideas, my juicy inspirations .....

spill out at inopportune times throughout the day.

The truth is, I've dabbled in many formats.

• Paid subscriptions.

• Daily musings.

• FB groups.

• IG threads.

• Weekly emails.

• Other social media platforms

Sometimes I record my moments of insight: in the car, on a walk, even in bed (or occasionally the tub!). But today I've decided to just land HERE. In the closest to a "consistent" way that I can wiggle myself into.

Every moment is a beginning. This is overstated to be sure. And underplayed.

So play with this moment, this idea. Rather than just "state" it. The one right here. This opportunity to be something, do something or choose nothing at all. Choose one thing or choose it all.

But always come back to the beginning.

Always come back to beginning (again).

Beginners mind guides us into a place of awe, wonder and humility. Stay open to what you DON'T know instead of filling yourself with what is known. Remain in the mystery of it all and life suddenly becomes pure magic at every unexpected turn.

I'm not saying do not become skilled, knowledgeable or masterful in your chosen field. Just always come back to a mindset that remembers what its like to NOT know and be fueled by curiosity.

Its the difference between taking the perspective of savoring the journey, slowing down and deepening into the places that feel "over your head" and immersing yourself in this unknown VS bypassing all that "work" with a shrug and an aloofness (implied or direct) that equates surface level knowledge with true understanding. Go deep. And begin again.

It really is about "beginners mind". If you truly understand what beginners mind is about.

Today, with beginners mind, I'm starting here. Again. But from and in a different place. This place. The here and now.
