Energy Musings.  Here.  Now.

Today.  Pay attention to the people closest to you in your life.  Their moods, their smiles, their frowns, their laughter, their tears.  For some time today, make everything else secondary.  Emails, phone calls, dishes, shoveling, laundry, work, meditation…. all of it can wait.  As you focus on the subtle details of the people around you… your children, your spouse or partner, your pets (yes, they count!), see what they are reflecting for you.

Make these intimate relationships your priority today.  How long can you focus here?  How long can you let everything else go?  What is truly urgent that you must attend to otherwise?  Is there a way to do THAT while not losing your focus on the relationships that support you?  Shutting off the mind chatter will help clear the space for this to occur.

Ask those around you “what do you need from me today”?  As you clear the space to access these answers, your own path will be cleared as well.  As you nourish these precious ones, your own soul will be nourished as well.  It is not just about doing for others, rather, it is seeing how others reflect what it is that needs to be done for yourself.  In the awakening of this deep understanding, we learn the true gift of paying attention.

Ommmmm.

Word of the day:  Relationships

Energy Musings. Here. Now. Today! Its a new year, and the beginning of a new cycle.  Mindful of course, that we are continuously cycling so to consider starting and ending points is somewhat arbitrary
